Claims can take up to 60 days to be evaluated by the manufacturer. After the decision has been made by the manufacturer, the store is then contacted with the results. The customer is then immediately notified by the store.
Guardian claims should only be filed within the first year if you have an accidental rip, stain, tear, burn or puncture.
American Freight does not extend warranties (other than specified by the manufacturer in writing). Upholstered fabrics are not guaranteed for color fastness, wearability or shrinkage by the manufacturers and therefore we are not able to offer such guarantees. Please be aware that the product warranty provides you specific legal rights and you may also have rights under applicable state law. Please inspect your merchandise at the loading dock. American Freight is not responsible for sub contracted deliveries or customers who fail to secure their loads. The contractual provisions of the sale are governed by the state of the store location.
Length of Warranty:
Your warranty starts on the date of purchase. To determine how long it lasts, refer to the product law tag and the warranty schedule. Repair or replacement of the product or mattress neither renews nor extends this limited warranty
If you are approved by the manufacturer for a repair or replacement, American Freight will repair or replace the defective piece within a reasonable period of time without charge to the customer except for transportation cost.
(1) You must be the original purchaser and have purchased the product from one of our authorized American Freight Furniture & Mattress stores.
(2) You must provide a copy of the original store receipt.
(3) The law-label must be attached to the product (if applicable).
If there is a discrepancy between the information contained on this webpage and the warranty documentation received with your purchase, the warranty documentation will control.
To file a service request with Guardian, please contact a customer service representative at 800-527-8485 between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. Report covered stains or damages within the time frame stated on your service plan.
